Wearing hearing aids is a new experience that can be very challenging. In my case, I have a lot of jaw movement, and they simply won't stay in my ears. He worked with me through custom fitted CIC aids, special coated aids, over the ear style aids, and finally a set with molded ear locks that hold them nicely in place. Six years ago I purchased my first set of hearing aids from Beltone. Periodically they cleaned and replaced the tubs but no time in 6 years of service did they offer to give me a hearing test. I recently went back because my hearing aid wasn't working. I also told them my hearing wasn't good. They scheduled a hearing test and said my current aids wouldn't help me but I needed a new molded ear canal type. I left, saw an ad for AccuQuest and set up an appointment. Dr. Smith was excellent, showed how my hearing works, gave me a hearing test, told me I could use an open ear canal type of aid with no problem, which I then purchased from him. I'm very satisfied with my new hearing aids and with the service of Dr. Smith and Emily.
